CONVEYING
Bucket elevator
Bucket elevators, also known as vertical elevators, are machines for conveying products in vertical direction. They are provided with a continuous belt equipped with buckets that move around two pulleys or drums, ensuring a constant and safe flow of materials.
This conveying system is mainly used for vertical conveying of agricultural and industrial granular materials and flours, such as cereals, minerals and others.

Frequently Asked Questions
The product enters through the lower mouth and is collected by buckets fixed to a rubber belt that elevates it to the upper head, where it is discharged by centrifugal force.
The capacity of a bucket elevator depends on several key factors. While belt speed is an important element, capacity is also influenced by the overall section of the elevator, the size and number of buckets per meter, as well as the type of material being conveyed.
The EB Rosal Belt Elevator is designed for vertical conveying of bulk products such as cereals, flours, granules and other materials with similar characteristics. It is ideal for agro-industrial environments that handle dusty materials.
Our elevators are specially designed to meet the needs of the agro-industrial sector:
Compound feed mills
Factories of correctors
Flour mills
Grain silos
Mill installations
Granulation plants
Extrusion plants
Oilseed handling
Handling of cereals, flours and their by-products in general
All our elevators are certified ATEX EX II 3D T 195°C. This certification ensures the equipment is safe for use in environments with occasional combustible dust presence (zone 22). It confirms that the equipment is designed to prevent any risk of ignition, even under demanding conditions, meeting the highest industrial safety standards.
To ensure safe and efficient operation, periodic maintenance of the bucket elevator is recommended. Typical tasks include regular dust cleaning, checking the condition of the buckets and rubber belt, as well as a visual check of electrical connections, oil levels (if applicable) and operation of safety systems.
It is also advisable to check for signs of overheating, check belt tensioning, tightening of bolts and, in the case of a chain drive, apply grease as required.
Over time, more in-depth tasks such as overhaul of bearings, seals, gearboxes and other internal components may be required, depending on the accumulated service hours.
