Counterflow cooler
Mabrik counterflow coolers are intended to cool the pellets coming out of the pelletizing process to a temperature close to the ambient temperature at the factory. Their design follows the thermal counterflow cooling process, which we consider to be the most efficient for pelletized products and allows for a compact machine design.

Construction and safety
All of our coolers are equipped with a stainless steel airlock for product inlet.
In addition, they are also equipped with a fire detection system, which provides the means to minimize as much as possible the risk of spread outside the cooler itself.
The pellet leveling system optimizes the uniformity of the product layer inside the cooler, increasing its efficiency and homogenizing the temperature of all the granules. This system is included as standard in all coolers from the RVF-24-C to RVF-39-C.

Frequently Asked Questions
In a counterflow cooler, the cold air circulates in the opposite direction to the product flow, which maximizes heat transfer. This allows the air to absorb as much heat as possible, achieving efficient and uniform cooling throughout the equipment.
Countercurrent cooler-dryers combine cooling with product moisture reduction through the inlet of hot air, ideal for processes that require drying pellets in addition to cooling, improving product quality and shelf life.
The fire detection system includes temperature probes and programmers that monitor the maximum allowable temperature. If overheating is detected, the system automatically closes the suction valve, stops the fan and stops the production line to minimize risk and damage.
The modular construction facilitates maintenance, allows adaptation to different capacities and facilitates transport and installation, as well as enabling integration with other equipment such as shredders or post-conditioners.
