What are the advantages of bolted silos over welded silos?

Bolted silos allow for infinitely more efficient and economical transport, especially over long distances or in international shipping (they are transported occupying a fraction of the final volume). Furthermore, their assembly on-site is clean and fast, without the need for heavy welding work in the field.

Bolted silos are suitable for a wide range of products, including: * **Grains:** Wheat, corn, soybeans, barley, oats, rice, etc. * **Animal feed:** Pellets, meal, mash. * **Agricultural products:** Seeds, fertilizers, minerals. * **Industrial powders:** Cement, lime, flour, sugar, salt, plastic pellets, starch. * **Food products:** Various dry food ingredients. * **Biomass:** Wood pellets, sawdust. * **Other bulk materials:** Sand, gravel, coal. Can direct-to-truck dispatch systems be installed?

Yes. In fact, their usual design on a supporting metal structure is intended to act as a shipping silo (fast loading of tank trucks) or as pre-storage silos for dosing or bagging lines.

How is airtightness ensured to prevent moisture in feed or raw materials?

Each panel joint features high-durability, weather-resistant elastomeric sealants and gaskets. The hardware includes sealing washers that prevent any leakage of rainwater or external moisture, preserving the product's nutritional properties intact.
