Flour extractor leveler

The chain leveling extractor fulfills a dual function in flat-bottom warehouses. During filling, it distributes the product across the entire surface of the building, and during emptying, it actively extracts it toward the discharge channel. It is the ideal solution for feed mills, grain collection centers, and flour and byproduct warehouses because it eliminates the discharge cone and avoids having to work with a loader shovel inside the building.

Design

Level during filling and extract during emptying

The same equipment distributes the product during filling and extracts it during emptying, with no moving machinery inside the warehouse. By eliminating the discharge cone, the product occupies the entire surface of the building, increasing the actual storage capacity.

Chain

Drag chain conveyor with flights

The working element is a drag chain with paddles that pushes the product during both leveling and extraction. It circulates between a motorized drive head driven by a gearmotor and a return element with a chain tensioning system.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a chain puller leveler work?

The product enters through the roof and forms a cone beneath the discharge point. When the cone reaches the height of the bridge, the bridge lowers in stages by means of the hoists. In each pass, the paddle chain drags the product from the center to the sides until it occupies the entire surface. During emptying, the equipment reverses its function: the bridge lowers progressively and the chain sweeps the product toward the hopper and the side discharge channel. The result is a continuous output flow and the warehouse floor is left practically clean.

Why do flours need active extraction?

Unlike clean grain, flours and by-products form very steep slopes, pack together, and do not slide on their own toward the discharge points, so gravity emptying is not enough. The leveling extractor actively moves the product to the discharge channel, without depending on its flowability. This reduces emptying time and maintains a stable dispatch flow rate.

What advantage does it have over unloading with a wheel loader?

Emptying is faster and more continuous, there is no need for machinery or people inside the warehouse, and the risk of slope collapse disappears. In addition, the same equipment levels the product during filling.

Can it be installed in an existing building?

Yes. The equipment is custom-designed: the dimensions and structure of the building are studied to adapt the dock leveler to the current installation.

What products can you handle?

Soybean meal and other protein meals, corn, rice, and agro-industrial by-products. Each facility is studied according to the main product being stored, in order to adjust the equipment configuration.

What is the capacity of the equipment?

Up to 200 tons per hour, depending on the configuration and the product.

Is it an automatic system?

It is semi-automatic: the operator supervises and the equipment executes the leveling and emptying cycles, supported by sensors.
