Mabrik, manufacturer of machinery for pelletizing compound feed and other by-products, has acquired four machines from the German company TBT Tiefbohrtechnik for its production plant in Barberà del Vallès (Barcelona). With this operation, the company, 100% owned by Grupo Rosal, intends to increase its die production volume by 30%.
This new technology will enable the company to work in three shifts 24 hours a day. This will enable the company to better meet the growing demand for dies and provide an immediate response to customers all over the world.
The investment is part of the company’s strategic plan, which aims to strengthen its leadership in the animal feed sector worldwide, while at the same time strengthening other business lines such as biomass or by-products. As part of this plan, Mabrik has also invested in a new automatic sharpener that will enable new and more complex sharpening processes to be carried out, as well as a new grinding lathe and a new countersink.
Mabrik closed 2021 with a 20% increase in turnover compared to the previous year.
